Email Template - Protect Your Self Rules
Below is an email template Den Leaders can send out to Den Families for required Protect Yourself Rules Adventure. This is required every year. This is for families to work on at home with their scout and either mark it complete in ScoutBook themselves or let thier Den Leader know so they can mark it complete. It is an easy one to complete.
Hello (Your Den Name) Families,
One of the remaining adventure requirements that our Scouts must complete to earn the Wolf Badge is the Protect Yourself Rules Adventure. It is quite simple and should not take long to complete.
*** PLEASE COMPLETE THE FOLLOWING AT HOME ***
Complete each of the following:
1. Watch the Protect Yourself video lessons for this adventure.
2. Demonstrate how you would say “No!” to someone who is doing something that makes you feel uncomfortable.
3. Identify five trusted adults, and share this list with your parent or legal guardian.
4. Describe the characteristics of a “safe stranger.”

Once you have completed all four of the requirements for the adventure either mark them complete in ScoutBook or let me know they have been completed and I will mark them.
